A Message From Our CEO

St. John’s is a network of federally qualified health centers and school based clinics which provide medical, dental and mental health services to more than 140,000 patient visits each year. We are extremely proud of our mission of social justice and health equity and hope to share with you our perspectives regarding health and human rights, improved quality of care, and increased services for the uninsured.

The Well Child and Family Centers have grown substantially over the last few years to meet the growing need for services in the downtown and south Los Angeles communities we serve. This past year we have opened two new clinics (one at Dominguez High School and one in central Compton) and are engaged in major capital and construction project to renovate and expand our Compton Community Health Center and our flagship headquarters site at 58th Street and Hoover in South Central.  These projects are the result of St. John’s receiving federal grants of more than $10 million to expand our sites and services.

We hope you enjoy all the exciting and innovative aspects of our work.

Thank you.
