Man Up! is a new and innovative access, education and outreach strategy that builds on the current efforts by St. John's to reduce the rates of teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STI's) by concerted effort to target the male population while engaging parents and educators.

Man Up! seeks to understand the community served and deliver culturally competent services aimed at creating a sense of respect and responsibility among male adolescents. In an effort to become an integral component of Lincoln High School and the community of Lincoln Heights, Man Up! will work to:

Increase access and use of medical services by students and their families by implementing comprehensive outreach strategies
Deliver culturally relevant educational material that is sensitive to the traditions, history and culture of Lincoln Heights community members
Invite parents and school staff to participate in the program and better communicate with students about sexuality and the importance of practicing responsible sexual behavior
